UPSC aspirant electrocuted on waterlogged street in Delhi

A 26-year-old youth, Nilesh Rai, lost his life in a tragic electrocution incident in Patel Nagar. Rai, a civil services exam aspirant, was electrocuted when he grabbed an iron gate near a waterlogged area. Despite rescue attempts, Rai's body remained stuck to the gate due to entangled threads. Authorities have registered a case of negligence and obstruction in public way. Investigations are ongoing, with forensic teams examining the scene. The electricity distributor attributed the incident to current leakage from damaged motor wiring.
