NHS to use AI technology to help free up hospital beds
Saturday, 16 August 2025 () Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is being piloted to help free up NHS hospital beds being used by people who are fit to be sent home, officials have said.
Health Minister Stephen Kinnock says 100 new diagnostic centres are now open across England, helping to ease hospital pressure and speed up diagnoses for patients.
