'Bring on Birmingham': Prince Harry welcomes next Invictus Games in UK
Monday, 17 February 2025 Prince Harry has welcomed the next iteration of the Invictus Games in the UK, as he spoke at the closing ceremony of this year's event in Canada.
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex honoured the "hero" athletes in a powerful speech to close Invictus Games in Canada as he vowed the event will continue as long as "the challenges around us demand it and require it".
Rosie Jeanne Burke Roche, a 20-year-old distant cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, was found dead on July 14, 2025, at her family home in Norton. A firearm was discovered near her body, and authorities have declared the death "non-suspicious" with no third-party involvement.
Rosie, a student of English Literature at Durham University, was the granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, making her a relative of the British royal family. Her sudden death marks another gun-related tragedy within the extended royal circle, following the 2024 death of Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston.
This segment explores who Rosie Roche was, her royal connection, and the troubling similarities to previous royal-adjacent deaths. We also look at the official response, what’s known about the investigation, and the family's plans for a private funeral and public memorial.
