Wednesday, 29 January 2025 The European Space Agency (ESA) has revealed it is closely monitoring an asteroid the size of a football pitch that could hit the Earth in a little over seven years.

Space probe Hera passed Mars while on its way to the Didymos asteroid system as part of planetary defence mission.
