Irish rappers win discrimination case against UK government
Friday, 29 November 2024 Irish language rap group Kneecap have won their discrimination case against the UK government after former business secretary Kemi Badenoch refused them funding.
The BBC has been ordered to pay Gerry Adams £84,000 after he won a libel case against the broadcaster. Adams said the case was about “putting manners on the BBC” and claimed it was out of step with the peace process in Ireland. Report by Covellm. Kemi Badenoch welcomed the winter fuel payment U-turn, insisting it should have happened sooner.
