Tinnu recalls offering Rs 5,000 to Amitabh for his first film
Tuesday, 10 June 2025 () Tinnu Anand, famed for both acting (Ghajini, Lajja) and directing (Kaalia, Shahenshah), faced family opposition to his film career. He trained under Satyajit Ray after declining opportunities with Raj Kapoor and Fellini. Tinnu famously offered Amitabh Bachchan Rs 5,000 for his debut film, Saat Hindustani. He later clashed with Madhuri Dixit on the set of Shanakht. Tinnu is married to Shahnaz, daughter of actor Agha.
