India’s air travel safety record significantly improved last year: DGCA

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that air travel safety in India improved significantly in 2023 compared to the previous two years. The number of risk-bearing airprox incidents and ground proximity warning system alerts saw notable reductions. These improvements are detailed in DGCA's Annual Safety Review for 2023, reflecting a strong commitment to aviation safety.
