James David Rodríguez Rubio is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for La Liga club Rayo Vallecano and is also the captain of the Colombia national team. Regarded as one of the best Colombian players of all time, he has been praised for his technique, vision, and playmaking skills. He was often considered the successor to his compatriot Carlos Valderrama.
