David Headley: Convicted American terrorist, co-plotter of the 2008 Mumbai attacks
David Coleman Headley is a Pakistani-American terrorist. He assisted the Pakistan-based Islamist group Lashkar-e-Taiba in planning the 2008 Mumbai attacks in India, providing multiple surveillance and terrorist reconnaissance missions throughout central Mumbai. In addition, he and Tahawwur Hussain Rana were foiled in their attempts to plot a terrorist attack in Copenhagen, Denmark against the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.
