Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has vowed to block the EU’s new budget plan, refusing to support additional funding for Ukraine’s war effort. Orbán slammed the proposal as a “budget of hopelessness,” arguing it would harm European farmers, blackmail Hungary, and waste resources on a conflict Ukraine cannot win. He warned that 20–25% of the EU’s upcoming budget would directly go to Ukraine, leaving Europe weaker and divided. India has slammed the European Union's latest round of sanctions that target Nayara Energy’s Gujarat-based Vadinar refinery for its links to Russian oil giant Rosneft.
