A shocking moment was caught on camera in downtown Los Angeles as 9 News Australia journalist Lauren Tomasi was shot in the leg with a rubber bullet by a law enforcement officer while covering immigration protests.
The video shows Tomasi in visible pain as bystanders scream, “You just shot the reporter!” The LAPD claims it was unaware of the incident, even as tensions continue to rise following federal immigration raids and the controversial deployment of the National Guard by the Trump administration.
