Kanwar Yatra: Few kanwars reaching Ghaziabad; Delhi-Meerut Expressway open for cars for now

Ghaziabad authorities have postponed the Delhi-Meerut Expressway closure for cars due to a slow start to the Kanwar Yatra. While heavy vehicles are already restricted, a complete ban on light vehicles will be delayed by a day or two, pending increased pilgrim traffic. Commuters are advised to use alternative routes like NH-9.
